Is WARDOGS Hacks worth researching, or should I stick with vanilla?

I've seen people discussing WARDOGS Hacks and similar third-party software.

I'm curious what people actually look at before even considering something like this.

Personally, I'd want to know what the software does, whether the game allows it, what the installation involves, and whether it creates security problems.

I don't really trust random downloads from people who say "100% safe" and then provide zero details.

What are the biggest red flags you'd check?

Anything asking me to disable security completely is an instant nope.

Check the game's rules first. People act surprised when third-party tools violate the rules even though they never bothered to read them.

I'd also check whether the publisher has said anything about third-party software. Don't assume something is permitted just because it hasn't caused a problem yet.

The sketchiest part is when a seller claims there is zero detection risk. Nobody outside the actual enforcement system can promise that.

OP here. Yep, the security part is what bothers me most. A game download shouldn't need access to everything on my PC.
